Bipartisan Gun Deal Announced: No ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban, No Raised Minimum Rifle Age
A bipartisan group of senators announced a deal on gun control legislation Sunday in the wake of recent mass shootings — though the compromise excludes President Joe Biden’s “assault weapons” ban and a raised minimum age for rifle purchases.
The deal includes Republican priorities such as expanded mental health services and school safety. It nods to Democratic priorities by adding expanded background checks for those under the age of 21, who will now have juvenile records screened before gun purchases.
Intervention Orders
● Provides resources to states and tribes to create and administer laws that help ensure deadly weapons are kept out of the hands of individuals whom a court has determined to be a significant danger to themselves or others, consistent with state and federal due process and constitutional protections.
Investment in Children and Family Mental Health Services
● National expansion of community behavioral health center model; major investments to increase access to mental health and suicide prevention programs; and other support services available in the community, including crisis and trauma intervention and recovery.
Protections for Victims of Domestic Violence
● Convicted domestic violence abusers and individuals subject to domestic violence restraining orders are included in NICS, including those who have or have had a continuing relationship of a romantic or intimate nature.
Funding for School-Based Mental Health and Supportive Services
● Invests in programs to expand mental health and supportive services in schools, including: early identification and intervention programs and school based mental health and wrap-around services.
Funding for School Safety Resources
● Invests in programs to help institute safety measures in and around primary and secondary schools, support school violence prevention efforts and provide training to school personnel and students.
Clarification of Definition of Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer
● Cracks down on criminals who illegally evade licensing requirements.
Telehealth Investments
● Invests in programs that increase access to mental and behavioral health services for youth and families in crisis via telehealth.
Under 21 Enhanced Review Process
● For buyers under 21 years of age, requires an investigative period to review juvenile and mental health records, including checks with state databases and local law enforcement.
Penalties for Straw Purchasing
● Cracks down on criminals who illegally straw purchase and traffic guns.
It is unclear whether the proposal can pass the 60-vote threshold required to defeat a legislative filibuster in the Senate — or whether the “progressive”-led Democratic caucus in the House would pass what they would see as a watered-down bill.

Enthusiastic Floridians gathered in Jacksonville, Florida, in a massive show of support for Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) via a boat parade on the St. Johns River, which Duval County Republican chairman Dean Black described as the “first in the nation DeSantis Flotilla.”
It is estimated that thousands participated in the event, as 1,300 boats registered for the parade alone. As witnessed by Breitbart News, nearly all of the vessels had several individuals aboard, suggesting that the preliminary estimations of turnout are likely accurate. Supporters also gathered along the sidelines and aboard the USS Orleck, “one of the most decorated US Navy ships since WWII,” which has been docked alongside the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville. The U.S. Navy ship was adorned with flags — from the “thin blue line” flag to others showing support for the popular governor.

Authorities arrested 31 members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front near an Idaho Pride event Saturday after they were found packed into the back of a U-Haul truck with riot gear. The men were standing inside the truck wearing khakis, navy blue shirts and beige hats with white balaclavas covering their faces when Coeur d’Alene police stopped the U-Haul and began arresting them on the side of the road. “They came to riot downtown,” Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White said at a news conference.

The Oregon Motor Voter Act Stopped a Trump Upset in The Beaver State

I have written at length about Alaska’s imminent decline into blue state status. The “Republican” state legislature is doing everything it legally can do to eventually turn Alaska into a smaller version of Oregon, including automatic registration through the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), and experimenting with an all mail-in special election this summer. Alaska has trended heavily in favor of Democrats since 2004 and will likely put forth a race within ten points in the next presidential election.
Oregon began tinkering with Vote By Mail (VBM) in the 1980s, entrenched the fraudulent processes in the late 1990s, and had their first presidential election with VBM in 2000. They had a tight race in 2000 between Bush and Gore, a slightly larger Democrat margin in 2004, and then exploded in mega-Democrat status in 2008, backing Obama’s first candidacy by more than 16 points. More on why Vote By Mail must be abolished can be found by reading Point IV of the Ten Points to True Election Integrity.
In order to use Vote By Mail to manipulate election results in favor of radical leftists, counties must create a “credit line,” as described by Dr. Douglas Frank, with their voter rolls. Alaska’s automatic registration through the PFD has created this credit line for the emerging Vote By Mail push to result in historic Democrat wins in the near future, such as the flip of Anchorage Borough to Joe Biden in 2020. Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s method of creating a more generous credit line was to sign the Oregon Motor Voter Act into law in 2016. You can see below that she appears happier than a pig in cow flop while executing the final document (because she realizes Oregon will never vote Republican as long as mass mail-in balloting and filthy voter rolls persist).
