Apologies are the glue of relationships, provided they’re sincere and well-worded. Love Story’s “Love means never having to say you’re sorry” never got tested because she died pretty early in the relationship. Within 5 years, she’d have been headed for the door without them.
I like Leroy Jethro Gibbs, but his idea that apologies are a sign of weakness explains his 3 marriages pretty well. These cinematic pronunciations from leading characters about the merits of an apology are like many ideas emanating from the minds of leftists in Hollywood - destructive to a polite society.

I think that 5-7 years down the road, when the Tesla battery gets old and decrepit, a nice retrofit of a very nice internal combustion engine would be fun. Then again, it would not be a cheap change - fuel tank, drive train, engine - lots of parts to change.

Maybe it’s the other way round; no threats of violence (and thus no statement by the fibbies that it won’t be tolerated) means no overturning, and threats of violence means overturning possible.
The death lovers are planning to riot. Decision was leaked. I think the overturn is a done deal.
