BTTT
A little surprised that the Mission supported him, but population-wise, parts of the district have become more like the Haight and the Castro over the years.
Under San Francisco’s recall laws, Boudin has no opponent, with Mayor London Breed picking a replacement. This contrasts with recalls of statewide officials, where voters select a replacement candidate.
To be replaced by a conservative. Yeah, right.
Buh bye.
Why quit eating sugar but not turnips?
Even at DU they are glad to see him gone....
Wondering why Deep State allowed this...
What comes next will most likely be worse.
Good sign
“’In fact, San Francisco has been a national beacon for progressive criminal justice reform for decades and will continue to do so with new leadership.’”
Sounds like they’ll still have to walk between Shiite going to work.
LOL. He deserved to go but the voters will elect someone at least as bad and love it for a while. Then the cycle will repeat.
There was an article here recently about a SF mom pushing a stroller down the street...and was run over by a car thief in a stolen car. It was on video...and looked like it was on purpose. The mom and kid were eventually ok. DA Boudin gave the thief something like 5-6 months suspended sentence (?).
The mom was on the Tucker show last night. She’s a Democrat and voted for Chesa Boudin.
I’ll withhold comment...
Boudin should be arrested, charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced for malfeasance, misfeasance, nonfeasance, and being an accessory to crimes after the fact.
‘The districts of Haight-Ashbury, Castro and the Mission backed Boudin, but the rest of the city was against him.”
I believe these are the highly gentrified (meaning taken over by rich, tech, yuppies who take the Google Bus to work 20 miles away), so they likely never walk more than a block from their apartments (Uber, or whatever for the ‘long’ trips). The people who actually have to deal with living in this crap outvoted them, thankfully.
You can’t be liberal, unless, you have pristine environment to live in.
