I see a lot of comments about what Biden is screwing up and there are many ways.
Let's pretend you have a year, a cooperating Congress, and a mandate to turn the economy around as President, what would you do? (I know, a lot of ifs especially regarding Congress, but work with me here).
Better yet, to stave off the "Let's vote Trump in and let him do it" voices, what would Trump have to do to turn the economy around if he were to take charge tomorrow?
I also hear a lot of "you just can't turn the oil spigot back on. It just doesn't work that way" comments. Fine. What would you do?
6th Re-instate a work requirement for government assistance.
7th Cancel the insane regulations on the trucking industry to improve supply chain issues.
8th Reduce public assistance for illegal aliens in the US to the most bare of minimums, then add the work requirement and publish that news as a deterrent to those considering the trip.
Ok, so my husband who worked 90 minutes away from DC so we could live in relative peace and afford a house, how would he get to work if he can’t use fossil fuels?
Easy answer. Put Donald Trump in charge again, especially with a strongly conservative Republican congress and senate.
Within a year, I would guess that gasoline would be under a dollar, the stock market (DJIA) would be pushing 70,000, the dollar would again become the most desirable currency on Earth, and the purge of worthless, corrupt, malignant bureaucrats would rival Vlad Tepis.
The United States has lost the ability to construct nuclear power plants. Look at the debacle in South Carolina as evidence.
1) Vacate all EOs issued by Biden
2) Re-enact all EOs issued by Trump
3) Abolish ATF, cancel all Regulatory inputs/changes since 1968 reassign personnel to US Forest service as Rangers
4) Abolish Dept of Education, reassign personnel to DOT to build roads and bridges (labor force).
5) Abolish IRS, establish 10% flat tax - Universal - give personnel option to join DOT/Forest Service as labor force
6) Fire all FBI leadership, (any position titled director, asst director, etc. down to GS-12 (equivalent) level) promote from within with a 10 year career limit in leadership
7) Put US on Gold Standard, abolish the FED
8) Establish term limits for Congress - 12 years max, either as a Representative, Senator, or both
9) Remove cadillac healthcare afforded to Congress, all must be on Medicare or Obamacare and pay for services
10) Remove congressional pensions, all must participate in Thrift Savings Plan or 401K, no guaranteed “pension” for life
11) Mandate Safe and responsible Firearms training in Schools- Required to graduate
12) Re-establsh Welfare to Work program, no work, no welfare
13) Deport Illegal aliens/migrants - Ban illegals from Social Security/welfare programs
14) Finish the Wall (Dept of Education Employees can furnish labor)
15) Compulsory Military or Humanitarian service (Peace Corps)
16) Mandatory CIVICs curriculum
17) Return religion to schools
18) Ten year imprisonment for firearm related crimes, Death penalty for second offense
19) Allow for public/individuals/communities to “opt” for green energy, at their cost, not under government subsidy
20) Remove mandate for Ethanol in all gasoline products, save the corn for eating, cattle feed, or distilling into drinkable alcohol
21) Require all voting to be in person on day of election or by absentee ballot within limited accepted criteria (disabled, out of state (military/humanitarian service)), No one to two month early voting options.
22) Remove mileage mandates for vehicles, allow for market to drive efficiency.
23) Stop all foreign aid until internal US need are met, after that thoroughly VET foreign aid to recipients policies.
24) ...?
Well it is a start, the longest journey begins with a single step...
One thing on my list would be to end government grants to environmental groups. Where do you think they get all this money to sue people who want to extract energy?
They get it from the Arabs. Have for years. Who else benefits from killing fracking?
Government regulations are the biggest obstacle to building either of them.
Also from the Russians, come to think of it.
The very first thing I would do is string up Xiden’s puppet-master and the others in that inner circle.
Oh, Forgot a few....
24) Open up all oil and drilling leases, to include ANWR, and all Federal lands, allow for fracking as a State decision, but is Federally approved (will allow for State’s rights)
25) Develop and implement K-12 school hardening and safety standards/requirements
26) Provide armed security and detection methods for K-12 school entry

4. weed out as many outdated and silly regulations as possible

Agreed, but a more practical first step might be to order all executive agencies and departments to move out of Washinton DC within 6 months or lose all funding for the rest of the year.
Many will leave the agencies, but those who move will be too busy to break a lot more of the economy for a while. As the Zussman trial proves, we can’t have these tyrants minions functioning in DC where a federal jury will never convict them.
It goes without saying that doing that would be unbelievably unwise.

I agree 100%.
Economy is a desperate Democratic and RINO-manufactured crisis imo. Democrats may be planning to release their chokehold on economy a month before Election Day and take credit for fixing economy to try to win on Election Day.
So Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters need to vote career Democrats and RINOs out of office which we are in the process of doing.
Enact Trump’s policies, the ones biden rescinded his first days in office.
1st: Give myself a 100% raise.
2nd: See 1st.
