A female news anchor wonders why hordes of men didn't rush to defend a woman from harassment on the New York subway.
On May 28, Sky News Australia posted a video titled "New York bearing signs of 'societal decay.'" The video shows a man (who seems as if he is on drugs) entering a train car and sitting next to a young woman. He then touches her without consent, grabs her, drags her around a bit, and generally is an extremely unpleasant nuisance. He eventually leaves her alone and proceeds to try to kick out one of the windows.
During the video, the young woman is seen looking at other passengers, with obvious worry in her eyes, begging somebody to please "help me." Nobody tries to help her. The news anchor, Rita Panahi, asks the question, "Where are the men?"
If I had to guess, they were standing in their place, checking their male privilege, toning down their toxic masculinity, and coping with how their Time's Up. Perhaps the men wanted a demonstration of how women are actually the stronger sex. Perhaps the threat level just did not seem that high to them; New York has a duty to retreat, after all. Besides, New York has been in the habit of arresting those who defend themselves.
Most likely, the men who were on the train did not care about this woman. They did not know her and were not likely to ever get to know her. How could it be worth it for these men to possibly be killed or maimed (it is unknown if the aggressor had a knife) for the sake of someone who may as well not exist to them?

I seem to remember that a really good number of New Yorkers do not vote.
Well, I know of at least on man
Border Patrol Agent Jacob Albarado
Are they men or mice? Squeek. Squeek.
Afraid of being charged with a crime or sued.
When in New York you must be accompanied by a bodyguard(s)
and a Lawyer at all times.
Almost three decades ago I was offered a computer job
on Wall St. A six figure salary we are talking here.
I would have had to commute to, or live in New York.
There was no way I was going to do either.
Just flat turned it down. No thanks.
New Yorkers believe that dealing with crime is a job for the police.
They might call 911, but they won’t get involved personally to do someone else’s union job.
Same for fire, EMS, snow plowing, sanitation, etc.
It's not like they have much choice. Until the ballots have "None Of The Above", each half of the Uniparty can send up their worst candidates.
During a particularly abusive attack on Trump and his supporters by the media a few years ago; While pumping gas, an obviously liberal woman asked me to inflate her tires. I asked who she voted for. After hemming and hawing, she told me she didn't like Trump. I did not assist her.
The woman is an adult. She could carry a .38 revolver like Bernie Goetz and deal with the problem as she saw fit.
Our socially seems to be divided almost down the middle on just about everything, even "Good Guys and bad Guys".. At this point in time, there more bad guys in government then good guys.. Maybe that will change soon. If not, then I think all of us will become slaves for the lawyers of DC...

(Cameras/video there?)
(Hillary collusion judges?)
Yep. Would called racist.
I wouldn’t have either.
So, a woman couldn’t take care of herself. She neglected to prepare for self preservation

And that is what they do.
You get a choice of Saddam Hussein or Saddam Hussein. Pick one!
LOL
Women are “equal” so why was it a man’s job?
The were just waiting for this 130 pound woman to go all Black Widow and beat up the man. Some women actually believe the hype they see on their screens.
My reaction too. What is a “man”? We no longer know. They’re probably thinking about having a baby, or what shade of grey they are on the transgender spectrum, and trying desperately to avoid showing any toxic masculinity.
Why would anyone expect there to be a “man” around?
And we here in the USA are wondering why the Australian men couldn’t man-up enough that they allowed their government to abuse them with heavy lockdowns and Covid camps which I read was very draconian. Mmmm?
