BRING THEM BACK!
I replied to your newsletter on other thread, how outrageous of Biden to demand that Border Patrol disarm if they wanted to meet with him. Such an evil, hateful old man.
This one, that Elon posted, yesterday, is still cracking me up ...

Share your experience if you, a friend or a family member believes or once believed in a popular conspiracy theory.
Conspiracy theories have become an increasingly common problem in the United States. From the QAnon movement to misinformation about Covid-19 vaccines, many Americans have accepted ideas that are not backed by science or fact.
We're interested in speaking to people who at one point believed in conspiracy theories and other kinds of disinformation but have since reconsidered their views, as well as with people who currently hold those views. If you, a friend or a family member believes or once believed in a conspiracy theory, were part of the QAnon movement or joined an online community that shared misinformation, we'd like to hear from you.
Your experiences will help us understand conspiracy theories in the United States and how they spread and find new members. If you share your contact information, we may get in touch with you to learn more about your experience.
We will not publish your name with your submission without getting your consent. ...

Connecticut Looking to Hire a $150,000 ‘Misinformation Sheriff’ Ahead of the Midterms

Connecticut officials are looking to hire what has been described as a “misinformation sheriff” ahead of the 2022 midterm elections amid fears of the spread of what the elites consider to be election “misinformation.”
The $150,000 hire is part of the state's larger effort to “educate” the public on all matters related to the elections prior to the midterms. A copy of Gov. Ned Lamont's (D) midterm budget contends that “malicious foreign actors have demonstrated the motivation and capability to significantly disrupt election activities, thus undermining public confidence in the fairness and accuracy of election results.” ...
Good morning, lysie!
Thanks for the fantastic breakfast.
Bye-done must have been afraid that the BP would shoot him but could you blame them?
It is outrageous that he demand that they come unarmed.

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito issued a stay order Tuesday blocking the decision of a federal appeals court that required the counting of undated ballots in Pennsylvania elections.
A lawsuit challenging a 2021 local election in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, involved voters who submitted mail-in or absentee ballots without including the date. Pennsylvania law requires that the voter both sign and date his or her ballot.
The matter eventually ended up in federal court because one provision of federal voting-rights law, 52 U.S.C. § 10101, purports to limit what sort of information a state can require on a state ballot. A federal district judge ruled in favor of the state law.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit reversed. A three-judge panel consisting of two Democrat-appointed judges and one Republican-appointed judge held that the relevant provision of state law violated federal law. The Philadelphia-based appeals court accordingly ordered the undated ballots be counted.
While a local election in the Keystone State may not typically be a topic of national news, this ruling also has significant implications for other races. There are hotly contested races for governor and U.S. senator in the state. Currently, the top two candidates for the Republican nomination in the U.S. Senate race, Mehmet Oz and David McCormick, are only a few hundred votes apart. And of course, Pennsylvania is a critical state these days in presidential elections as well.
Alito issued a stay blocking the Third Circuit's decision. The matter is likely to be referred to the full Supreme Court now.
This stay is only temporary.
How fun! Thanks for posting!
YES! So many things to miss about President Trump.
May God bless you all.

Morning, Jane!
Is this the NYSlimes way of helping the Thought Police?
This is totally ridiculous.
Why don’t they do an article on conspiracy theories that they said were not true that actually turned out to be true.
Their record is abysmal.
EXCLUSIVE: Many Border Patrol Agents, Cops Who Responded to Uvalde School Shooting Uninvited from Biden Event
Law Enforcement officers who responded to the Uvalde school shooting at Robb Elementary School on Tuesday morning received an invitation to meet with President Biden during his planned visit to Uvalde on Sunday afternoon. According to a senior Customs and Border Protection source, the officers received the invitation late last week. Many had accepted and were scheduled to attend the private address from the president. Most are now being informed they are no longer invited.
Although the meeting is planned at a location that can accommodate hundreds, more than 90% of the Border Patrol agents who were invited are now being told time and space are limited and they cannot attend. More than 80 Border Patrol agents, including several members of the Border Patrol’s BORTAC special response team involved in the response to the school shooting, received the invitation. Late Saturday evening, the Border Patrol was notified the President could only meet with 7 of the more than 80 agents who responded to the shooting.
The source says mid-level managers from the Border Patrol were tasked to decide who will attend and feels those left out will assume their role in the event was unimportant. “It appears now as if this planned meeting was nothing more than a photo opportunity with the law enforcement community,” the source says.
Seems this is a case of “he doth protest too much.”
If they aren’t stealing the election, they wouldn’t need this “Misinformation Sheriff” as there wouldn’t be anything to talk about.
Certainly telling.

Exactly.
They won’t, for that reason!
Good morning, Gran!
