I STILL can’t get over the idiot teacher who propped open a secure door and then ran into the school without closing it behind him/her and also the armed “School Resource Officer” that didn’t feel the need to be AT the school he was supposed to be guarding.

Panic is a killer. Panic comes from being unprepared, unaware, and lackadaisical. Those who are in a position where they may need to take action in a dangerous and quickly moving situation need to keep it forward in their minds all the time. Today’s schoolteachers are in such a position.

Well I find it interesting that she and the security officer were sort of AWOL at the same time. Wherever he was, he was only two minutes away. The two people whose mistakes caused the fatal entry into the school. It is either money or sex.

Then the teacher returned to the propped door, calling 9-1-1, noticed the shooter nearing the school, panicking and ran inside, leaving the door open.That doesn't pass the sniff test. If I'm feeling threatened I'm going to close the security door.

Take the patrol cars away from school resource officers! They don’t need to be cruising around in vehicles.
They need to be at the school, preferably monitoring the easy access front of the school.
