'Either we win or this will end badly for all of humanity': Putin's state TV stooges warn Russia will unleash nuclear war rather than accept defeat in Ukraine

The head of Russian state-backed TV network RT said 'things will end badly for all of humanity' if Russia doesn't win a military victory against Ukraine, hinting at a nuclear strike should the country lose the war.

Russia's state-backed media has become infamous for its anti-Ukrainian rants since the war broke out in February 24.

But the latest outburst was from RT's Margarita Simonyan, who studied in the US and told Russian viewers they should rejoice the fact that their children will never receive a western education.

'They all believe that we will lose and the west will win. They don't understand that it's impossible. It's simply impossible, it will never happen,' she said on Monday.

'Either we win, or this will end badly for all of humanity, there is no other way,' she said, in remarks seeming to hint at a nuclear exchange if Russia did not get its way in the conflict.

If scripted and acted, it was meant to be an ambiguous threat implying nukes, I suppose.

These ludicrous threats are all directed at the low-I.Q. "peanut gallery" in the West. Also intended to stiffen the ranks in the East.

Then why did you cite the opinion of "several pastors?"

The only thing I can make out from your link is that the Boob God is trading in for an upgraded, newer model.

We need let it be known that we have rearmed all of our tridents with full war shots of 10 rather than the current allowed 4 MIRVs. Get the biggest worse bombs out of the ready reserve for the bombers. Get the B-52s up SAC style flying their race track patterns armed with the max load out of cruise nukes.

Call Vlad and tell him, we see his 50 Satan2s, and raise him about 3000 nukes.

No not in the executive branch but there have been several congresscritters who said that we are at war.

Here is one example:

https://www.wtrf.com/news/politics/are-we-at-war-with-russia-one-senator-says-yes/

It wasn’t that I was being vague. It just that I was on my tiny cell phone and it won’t cut and paste, so I couldn’t link a story.

My point is both the United States and Russia should be very careful about what we do as both countries have the ability to plunge the world into nuclear winter.

In the story from the original post, now the Russian side is saying that the war is with the west, you put it in quotes.

Personally I would expect people on our side would exercise enough restraint to NOT say we, as in the US or NATO, are at war with Russia.

The Russians would have had their own atomic bomb sooner or later (they had some smart scientists and look at how many other countries now have the bomb) but maybe it would have taken longer if not for the help of the Rosenbergs and other traitors.

Congress hasn’t done it ‘how it works’ for most of the past 100 years. Why should they start now?

Nikita Khrushchev was a Russian born in Russia (Kalinovka). He lived for part of his life in Ukraine but he was not a Ukrainian.

The longer this war goes on, the more Ukrainians that will die. They already dying at the rate of 500 per day. And, the less territory it will have left.

The Russians have the moral high ground -- they are freeing ethnic Russians from genocide at the hands of neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists. They consider this war to be one of where they are fighting for their own national security.

Compare that to most in the US who see no national interest and don't want American troops involved. There is NO will to fight a hot war with Russia in this country nor will there be.

There is NO scenario where the Russians aren't getting what they want in Ukraine. Deal with it. You're going to have to face reality sooner or later.

It's a lot more than that. This is a tragedy, brought on by the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned against. What you're seeing in the independent media is an under-estimate. What you're seeing on FoxNews/CNN/BBC is complete bullshit.

I don’t know what that figurine is supposed to mean, but I remember reading in Cornelius Ryan’s book, The Last Battle, where a German general described where he saw Russian soldiers looking at a toilet and flushing it over and over.

He was incredulous that the German army could be defeated by men who had never seen a toilet.

Several pastors I have heard fear we are heading to nuclear war.

My point is that your referencing pastors having any opinion about nuclear war is about as relevant as the opinions of any random hamburger-flipper, real estate agent, or vacuum cleaner salesman on the subject.

Unless the given person has some special expertise on the topic - e.g., by virtue of a background in geopolitics, military history, East European Studies, etc. - they should keep their worthless speculations to themselves. Unless they can expound at length about U-235 enrichment by means of the high-speed centrifugation of uranium hexafluoride, or declaim on the subject of Kesselschlachten, or are certified Kremlinologists, they should keep their traps shut.

I've chatted with clergymen who were fond of making "dark allusions" to impending nuclear war - clergymen who couldn't tell a nuclear silo from a hole in the ground. Their "understanding" of the subject was based upon a half-remembered Readers Digest article from the 1960s, and a couple of episodes of "Lost in Space."

I do not go to such people to hear their pronouncements on subjects in which they do not possess expert knowledge.

Regards,

Ukraine is the trip point, after Russia is surrounded by NATO, the war will really begin. Of course it is Putins fault, not the US for moving steadily to the very border of Russia.

I love America, but the US govt sucks. My family is in danger from this madness, but the Oligarchs of the US and the “elect-ed” will not even be touched. No matter what happens, they will “bunker down”, while we hunker down.
