Have you told her that they aren’t fully vaccinated if they haven’t had the second booster and that they will be fully vaccinated for perhaps about a month until the effectiveness trails off and that there will be a period of time when they don’t have much protection but it will be too soon for them to get the third booster to fill them up again?
I mean, she is aware people are getting the 2nd booster, isn’t she? Why does she think they are getting it? Why hasn’t she gotten it yet if she believes the vaccines and boosters are necessary to prevent Covid?
My S.O.’s twice boosted boss tested positive and is rather sick, I understand. Home, but worst flu in her life sick.
He has to work from home this week due to exposure, not that he’s upset about that.
He’s enjoying letting her know that he feels just fine despite not being vaxxed at all.
I told him he should say he’s been testing himself regularly and just say at the end of the week he popped positive so he can get another week at home and to be sure to mention how good he feels and that not having to spend 1.5 hours a day commuting allowed him to tackle a number of home projects.
I hope your family stays well and your daughter takes the meds you gave her. Though, I doubt she will admit to you she did so.
She’ll never admit she took them but I’m sure she has. I offered her my brand new bottle of Robitussin DM for the cough and she took it.
People are so funny sometimes. She knows that I get out two or three days a week, go to town, get around people, etc. all while unvaxxed and unmasked. She said that she, her husband, her daughter, and a close friend have all four tested positive in the last week. All four are vaxxed, boostered, and live in a KN-95 mask when not at home. Well, that worked. 🙄 The granddaughter and SIL were only sick a couple of days but she and the close friend are a lot worse. She still had the guts to say that “I feel certain that if we hadn’t all been vaxxed and boosted that it would have been a lot worse”. I think she said they had all had three shots. After that many though I figure they have lost count.
We’re glad she’s not extremely sick but like my husband said this morning, “if they took that many shots and they all still got it, those shots are worthless”. I agree with him on that. I haven’t asked but since the SIL was only in the bed and out of work sick for two days, she was probably giving him the IVM. He was out of work and positive on Monday and Tuesday, went back to work on Wednesday, and mowed our yard on Saturday. He said he felt fine by Saturday and good enough to go back to work on Wednesday.
Oh, and it scared my husband enough that I got him to take my home filled Vit.C capsules and Vit.D3 that I take.
