I’m wondering if there’s a Marine theme tonight...am liking the interview with Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes...Men At Sea...and Lux with Pride of the Marines...

Hey Gina, all is well. We finally got hot this week, had a few days in the 90’s. Am eating lean this weekend with some chicken breasts.

Friday night went to Marine Corps Parade at the DC Barracks which is also home to the Marine Corps Commandant. It was pretty cool. The site was selected by Thomas Jefferson since it was close to the Navy Yard, and the Commandant's House is beautiful. It's the oldest inhabited building in DC. Built in 1802 and for some reason was spared during the War of 1812 when the British burned the city.

I’m holding up OK. She’s out, and off work until at least next Friday. She’s taking her meds and is scheduled for an echocardiogram shortly.
