Watched the last half hour of SNL last night when I got home from work, I was intrigued by the name of the musical act, "Japanese Tea Garden", and it was really annoying, when the female lead singer would bang a gong every 10 seconds, was it a tribute to T Rex?
Well I digressed, at the closing everybody on stage was wearing a mask.
What were they trying to convey? They are such hypocrites.
I think those like Shatner do it just to stay in the public eye. Once you’re hooked to that drug you can’t quit!

Shatner has always done commercials, even back in the old days when it was the “kiss of death” for one’s acting career.
I read where the story about him becoming super rich from the Priceline deal may have been overestimated.
He did very well, in the early days he was doing those commercials they paid him in stock. He did just fine.
A lot of folks don't know "Cops" is back on. It had been removed from telly because it was "politically incorrect". It was a popular show....I think it's back because it commands a big viewing audience.
The program is way up high on your channel numbers (354 on mine) and is round-the-clock on certain days. A show called "Jail" alternates with it sometimes.
I love watching the bad guys gets their noses mushed into the dirt on BOTH these programs....and watching the good guys win !

One year for Halloween my girlfriend dressed up as Naomi Price, another friend of ours did a REALLY good Big Deal, and I was Shatner. We posted the pic on Twitter and later that night Shatner retweeted it. That was pretty fun :-)

There were occasional times after the original cast that they were funny. Mike Meyers, Dana Carvey, Jon Lovett, Will Farrell, even that little flouncer Chris Katain... but nothing lately.... with the exception of that black guy who manages a deadpan expression with some funny scenarios.
He was never on SNL. I doubt he even hosted.

SNL & Jimmie Walker got collated together on an earlier post ( Not mine!) . I answered the SNL question, Jimmie Walker’s Medicare supplement commercials got brought up and I commented on that. Did Shatner ever host a SNL show? If he did it was long after I stopped watching it.

I see blacks wearing them often... and an occasional whitey will appear. I’m guessing the blacks are CNN watchers and still following along. the whites are the virtue signalers IMHO...
I taped it. I’ll watch it later. I know a few people were leaving, including a copy whom I have no clue who they are, along with some who have been tehre too long, but like the steady paycheck, I guess.
