JHU students create edible tortilla tape to fix wrap problemDoes this make it a Scotch burrito?
Here's the thing: burritos that are well-wrapped won't have a problem. They are solid. But a lot of places don't have workers who know how to wrap. I haven't been to Chipotle in years, but they were terrible at wrapping.

Chipotle has had so many tainted food issues I’ve never been in one.
We prefer Tijuana Flats.

Maybe a DJ scratching records would have helped...

That is a pretty good idea. At first I thought that they had made a really long and thin burrito.

Here's the thing: burritos that are well-wrapped won't have a problem.I agree. I have only had poorly wrapped burritos at home when I make them! Then I use a fork/knife on it.

Does this make it a Scotch burrito?Ha! I like that.
But, I think if you put the words "scotch" and "tape" in the same paragraph describing your product you wound have a 3M lawyer on the phone by end of day.

They have to be applied wet. I am NOT going anyplace where the possibility of somebody licking the tape before affixing it to my messy goodness is way too high!

If you don’t know how to eat a burrito without making a mess, you shouldn’t be eating one.

I’m one of the 5% or so that can only taste soap if I eat cilantro so Indian and Mexican food doesn’t appeal much. Cool tape though.

Maybe they could make it out of something like a flour tortilla. If it’s large enough, you could wrap it around all the ingredients.
