"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

Aside, given what we know these days, I entertain the idea that prions were purposefully facilitated into the north american food chain, and that other biological “incidents” also have a high probability of being malevolent acts (West Nile, Tick borne meat allergy, etc...)

Not sure what they were avoiding, other than I was always told to never use that waste material (from carnivores) for fertilizing anything that would be eaten. The ‘wasting disease’ has hit our deer herds locally. My grandparents had never heard of it. Not sure where or how that started. But we are quite sure that the wet fall seasons and patches of unharvested corn harbor micotoxins. Anyway, I agree that some of these incidents are beyond mysterious.

PS - I don’t know what Trey Gowdy is doing now; people got mad at him because he didn’t accomplish anything much questioning Killary and all that. Because Eric Holder was AG, 0bola was “president”, no one in Congress could do anything; sending Holder or after him Lynch criminal referrals resulted in nothing.
I brought up religion in relation to relevant political discussion.
I insulted nobody, I defended my position when attacked and I stopped when I had nothing more to say.
Not only did I insult nobody but I repeatedly specified that we can’t pass judgement on the people being discussed.
If you think that that in any way justifies accusing me of being a pervert which has nothing to do with either the politics or the religion involved then you need to think again.
Cletus also brought the subject back up after I and everyone else involved had moved on.
Cletus also owes an apology to the people who agreed with me since he insults thhem by implication as well.
