still struggling with some health stuff..
In some cases where I’ve been along with friends/relatives who needed to go under for a procedure I’ve told the Quacks to go as light as possible on the knock-out stuff. The main reason being they can’t predict what decade the guy might wake up in. The wrong decade could be troublesome. In the same cases I’ve found that a light dose brings cognition back before the day is over. But a normal dose will have the person asking me all the same stuff for the next two days. And then having noticeable effects for as long as three months out.
All that convinces me that anesthesia is witchcraft. they get snippy when I get on their case-—after the work is done. I try to be polite going in. My Mom said I could go to doctor school if I wanted but I flunked bedside manner. And my own Quack says the only thing he can find wrong with me is my attitude.
Thank you, lj. That’s so very helpful and I’ll check as many as I can squeeze in and listen on double speed. I want to click on every link, read every story and watch every video posted here but I’d need to clone myself twice to do it all. The written summaries posters provide with their links are so valuable to those challenged for time, but I understand that not everyone can do that for the same reason. I feel like I’m missing a lot by not getting to every link and that weakens my ability to share important information to normies.
FWIW the last person I know who had that exact problem was pretty much dragging on and not really recovering from the dope. I took a bigaxx bottle of industrial oxy and a regulator with face mask and set it up for her.(2 cc flow) I suggested she take 1/2 hour early and late in the day. Within two weeks she was back doing the Monday crossword by herself. Now she won’t let me have my bottle back. Just sayin’.
