But there are several people around here that sell meat rabbits.
Caveat is that you must sell them live.
If you sell them butchered you have to deal with the USDA.
Don't nobody want to do that.
She is going back and forth between the Flemish Giants which are really big and the Satin, which are about half the size but do give you a nice pelt. One that you can actually sell and they do much better in our harsh winters.
Yep, meat would have been my first choice, rather than pelts.
There are some humongous-sized rabbits in/from the British Isles that are about 35# but I have no idea how good their meat is. I’ve never been one to eat bunnies, but if they taste like chicken....
And yes, you do have harsh winters!
