My starter word was a bust, as well!
Some can be tough, but I think it’s because whoever assigns the words (computer?) lulls us into a particular way of thinking and then smacks us.

Cloudy. No rain yet, but overcast for the next week.
If I get to feeling better, I’d like to walk to the library here. Haha. I know the street I’d have to use to get there, and it’s not a nice area. The library is in a nice area, but walking there isn’t. So I’d have to go the long way around. Unngh.

Kathleen had a pile of audiobooks in, both CD sets and digital cassettes.
It’s pretty hot here. Jake isn’t speaking to me. James is supposed to start work later this week.

That one block is right through the slums! LOL! It’s probably the shabbiest part of this part of Cabot, but the library doesn’t open until 1000, I think. I’ll have to check it again.
FS is going to come over on Monday and spend some time with me. He wanted to do it today, but he has too many “Honey-do” jobs, since he’s a handyman.
I’m not surprised that Jake is snubbing you. He does that periodically when you’re gone for longer than overnight. Or maybe it’s because this time, he smelled Polly! What a silly cat, is Jake!
Good luck to James on his new job! Is he excited?
