Hopefully above the slosh when the Erf tips and the water tries to not move...

Leftover pizza for breakfast is the best! Good for Frank! The Early Bird, and all that.
The shredding is DONE! Finished! Finally! Two bags of shred ready to go out.
Much to my chagrin, I need to use the A/C because otherwise, things “melt.” Looks like I’ll only get to wear my T-shirts if I have a long-sleeved shirt over them, and those are in short supply. (I miss the days when FS and I would head for thrift stores.)

I’ve never been to New Zealand. Me neither, but shaggy runs a B&B on the north island. It seems very nice (except for the government).
But then again so is California (except for the government)...

SAD sucks, which is why I chose the desert for so many years. Perfect climate, great daylight hours, year-round. SAD doesn’t like me, either. Hang in there and invest in a good sun lamp specifically made for those of us with SAD.

You wouldn’t regret the Ozarks, at least once you got used to the humidity nine months of the year. But I suspect the north island of New Zealand would be humid as well. Just, take me with you, OK? (At least if you moved to the Ozarks, we could visit!)

I understand the reason Hawaii doesn’t do the daylight savings time madness is their daylight is pretty consistent year round. It would probably be great for SAD.
Except for the government.

Ah. Then you know.
I’ve lived in MO, SD IL and VA (as well as Coastal CA) but I was younger, then, and the humidity was easier to deal with. This is wreaking havoc on my lungs, but it will be easier to deal with next year. I hope!

The government in most places is idiotic.
At least here, they don’t suffer fools for longer than one term.

We vote our goofs out fairly often, but the new goofs aren’t that different.

Most folks here aren’t into liberals, so if they do happen to get elected, they don’t necessarily last more than one term. There are exceptions, of course, but still....

That’s not the case here, probably because the voters are also fools so they can’t tell the difference.
