Biden Signs Bill Reviving WWII-Era Lend-Lease Program To Ukraine
President Biden on Monday signed a bill into law reviving the World War II-era lend-lease program for Ukraine, paving the way for an escalation in US military aid to Kyiv.
The Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 allows Biden to send weapons to Ukraine free of charge while technically requiring payment at a later date. Under the lend-lease act during World War II, the US sent billions of dollars in weapons to the Soviet Union, China, Britain, and other allies.
I think this is a humanitarian crisis. What country can we go to begging for aid? Wish we could put some commercials out about Americans suffering, with critical shortages like baby food, Americans unable to find affordable housing exasperated by the influx of refugees, unable to afford gas and food.
Srilanka, Armenia already rioting because of hire food and medicine prices, and we can end up doing the same.

The deputy commander of the Azov regiment Svyatoslav Palamar (nickname Kalina) recently gave an interview to the BBC, that Ukrainian forces are suffering significant losses, counted in thousands of servicemen. The Azov militants reportedly have about 600 wounded. Many of the injured are dying due to the lack of medicines. Palamar also accused the Ukrainian command that it actually left the militants at Azovstal dying.
