Scary footage from a home camera shows the moment a couple and their dog were chased back into their house by an angry black bear.
On Tuesday, in Apopka, Florida, the couple had just stepped outside with their dog.
'We were letting the dog out to potty and a bear charged us from our next-door neighbor's house,' said the woman who lives there with her husband.

This is not a moment you would want to be struggling with the door key.
How do you stop a bear from charging.......take away his credit card.
“a bear charged us from our next-door neighbor’s house”
I hate it when my neighbor let’s their bear off the leash.
You know the old joke.......I don’t have to run faster than the bear....I just have to run faster than YOU
Must be why they labeled the nearby lake, Bear Lake.
How would I stop the bear? Pull out my concealed carry and do a mag dump into the bear’s face.
Oh great another article bashing the alleged bad behavior of one bear. And I don’t see anybody asking the bear why he chased them. Probably one of them dropped a wallet or something and he just tried to return it. But they just ran in fear because of all the negative stereotypes people have of us.
We have it all.......bears, gators and giant pythons.......oh my!
Giant bugs too, don’t forget about the @#$& giant bugs!
They’re called Palmetto bugs and they can fly!.....flying giant cockroaches
Imagine what would have happened to the bear if it had been one of her children instead of a dog!
Ocala National Forest is about 20 miles north of Apopka, so a bear that size is a long way from home!
That animal was big enough to kill a human being, and it was probably hungry, too.
Stay away from Florida, alligators, snakes, Florida man, and now bears!
Re: Florida has it all.......bears, gators, and giant pythons.......oh my!
You forgot to mention the iguanas that fall out trees when the temperature goes below 40 F.
Florida Man most dangerous of these threats by far...
Notice the guy was in first, then the wife, and last was the little dog.
Naaah, that wasn’t a bear. That was a furby (the TWOT’s who dress up in animal costumes so they can practice bestiality) who was turned away from a grooming session at DisneyWorld.
The dog could have outrun all of them, but she wanted to play or fight. I hope she got to do her business, because nobody was leaving the house again for awhile.
