Ohio Vaccine Data Update:
See this site for a history of the Notavax. I needed to consult it because I forget when the first booster was available for which groups when.

So, the first booster was available to the over 65 cohort roughly the end of September and was available to the immune compromised in August. Just before Thanksgiving, it was authorized for the all adults 18 and over and then to older teens a few weeks later.
Currently, the 2nd booster can be gotten by those 50 up.
Per the Ohio Dept. of Health website, 1.6 million of those over 50 in Ohio got the first booster over all the months since they became eligible.
So far, 265,000 of those over 50 have gotten the 2nd dose since it became available to them. I think it has been available since roughly the beginning of April, but that may have been only to those 65 and over at first. I’m not sure how long those 50 and over have been able to get it.
Something like 700k of those over 65 and immune compromised got the first booster within roughly a month (i.e, by the end of October) of said booster being available to the over 65 cohort.
About 3.5 million Ohioans of all ages got the first booster, about 52% of the people who were “fully vaccinated” in the first round.
My thinking was that half of the people who got the first booster will get the 2nd, but I think I will be wrong. I think it may only be a third based on current trends.
I am glad to be wrong. It means I overestimated the stupidity of people.
