Not a chance. She created the franchise in the first place and for a lot of good reasons, won’t reliquish it until after her passing.

And if she relinquishes control they will destroy her universe and fill it with real monsters. And kill it even further than their rabid little minds could even imagine.

Meticulous plotting?! Yeah I don’t think so. And the Fantastic Beasts made a ton of money. Not necessarily great movies, but it is a business.

Much like Lucas created a beloved series from the ground up in Star Wars, then proceeded to leave the stagnant franchise shortly after the release of the prequel trilogy in 2005,

What a terrible comparison. The stodgy prequels were masterpieces compared to the Disney Star Wars dreck.

Popularly disliked in the modern zeitgeist, Rowling no longer holds the cultural weight she once did, with many disregarding her opinion and stance, unwilling to support the views and work of a ‘transphobe’.

This is one queer's opinion. certainly not a statement of fact.

Johnny Depp was kicked from the production of the second film in the series The Secrets of Dumbledore in November 2020 due to her ongoing lawsuit with Amber Heard

Johnny Depp is now a "her"?! These freaks are relentless.

Maybe the third movie is flopping because people feel Johnny Depp was ill used?

The beauty of a most free society is that when you create something….you don’t HAVE to do nothing with it.

She should tell these people to pound sand.

That isn’t going to happen, she created it and it’s hers. His logic is terribly flawed. Disney acquiring Lucas has pretty much killed the Star Wars Franchise in many ways. I suppose he would like Disney to buy it.

It’s her intellectual (or lack thereof) property. This article stinks of manipulation. Replace Rowling’s name with any other popular author and ask if this tripe makes any sense.

The thing is JKR is a card carrying liberal, always has been. She was an icon of the left until the Trans thing hit, then she made the fatal mistake of actually saying, "Hold up guys! I'm not sure I'm onboard with this one...." That was enough for her to become Donald Trump in the eyes of the left. It didn't matter that she was a huge feminist, it didn't matter she supported gay rights. It's not good enough to be with them on 99%, if you disagree with them on 1% you are a worthless traitor and need to be canceled.

I will give JKR credit though, she was stuck to her guns on this one. I figured as soon as she got some push back she would be giving the, "After discussions with the Trans communities, I have been educated and my views have changed, the next Harry Potter book will be about Harry's change in to Henrietta to prove I'm not transphobic."

With the third film in the Fantastic Beasts series likely to be the last, now would be the perfect time for J.K Rowling to relinquish control of the Wizarding World brand, with a George Lucas-type deal worth billions.

Much like Lucas created a beloved series from the ground up in Star Wars, then proceeded to leave the stagnant franchise shortly after the release of the prequel trilogy in 2005, J.K Rowling is in a position where she can make more money by handing the franchise over, rather than struggling with constant creative toil. Without control, Warner Bros would have the final say in all Wizarding World projects, including movies, video games and much more, breathing new life into a series that is begging for reinvention.

Not sure I follow the reasoning. I like Star Wars but haven’t really followed all of the various prequels and back story movies and all of that. But some Star Wars fans I know say the series just isn’t the same.

If we use the Star Wars template, is J.K. Rowling supposed to sell out to make money, and let someone else do something different with her works? Why?

Or is all of this a smoke screen, because of their outrage that she isn’t on board with all this transsexual business, and this is supposed to be her punishment???? What’s really going on here???

Calum Russel needs to concentrate on doing something meaningful with his own life, instead of telling someone who has already made an impact that they should give up the fruits of their creativity and labor.

So “transphobes” should forfeit their property rights? How long before they should forfeit their freedom? And their lives? Is that where we’re going? When will being ‘canceled’ mean being terminated?
