“I miss wing windows.”

Oh, yea! I loved those. You could catch a nice breeze as long as you were moving.

Spark plugs you can reach and change yourself.

——————————————————————————

As I recall, even back in the 70s there were some Chevrolet models that required you to disconnect motor mounts and use an engine hoist to lift up the engine a few inches so as to reach some spark plugs.

I have a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen and I’ve never replaced a single light bulb. (Knock wood)

A few modern cars have headlights that skew right or left (slightly) with the steering wheel.

Bring back bench seats.

Yes! It is impossible to do SOS turns with bucket seats ( a fast right turn with your girl friend in the middle = "Slide Over Sweetie")

Not-Power Windows Crank windows.More reliable than power windows, much finer control over movements, and I don’t have to turn the ignition on to use it.

In flood areas this simple option/change would save a lot of lives...

[[What I really miss? Keys WITHOUT BUILT-IN FOBS!]]

Yep, and have keys made a t local hardware store thst both unlo k the car and start it without costing near $100 for one key.

Hardware stores used to crank out spare keys for like a few dollars, now car manufacturers have that stupid fob and anti theft nonsense that only allow a certain number of replacement keys before the whole dang anti theft unit has to be replaced, and it’s not many keys either. In the old days you could have a bunch of keys and never were limtited.

Agreed. But those were few. I could easily change all the spark plugs in my 1974 Lincoln Continental and my 1976 Monte Carlo. LOL
