Me too if it is made well, BLT used to be my favorite but bacon has lost much of the flavor over the years and doesn't fry crisp without burning, at least for me, so Grilled Ruben, it is for me it is. Truth is since I am diabetic any sandwich is pretty much out for me except on rare occasions.
So many good sandwiches!
In the Western Pa area we refer to Baloney as “Jumbo”. So I’ll have a jumbo on Italian bread with lettuce, tomato. Onion and miracle whip. Hmmm

D’Angelos’ bomber
Fried bologna, scrambled egg, slice of tomato and onions with either mustard or mayo. Local place has been serving this called the Big Dog since the 1950’s.
Another simple classic in my area is a scrambled egg, mayo and fresh slice of tomato with salt sandwich.
These days it’s Carl’s Jr. Australian Angus Beef burgers, usually the Western Bacon burger. We have a lot of boutique burger joints too, but for a quick pick up to take home and chill out to an old episode of Barnaby Jones or Quincy, M. E., before heading out for a night booze walk, fishing, or metal detecting adventure, it’s a great go-to sandwich.
Nostalgia-wise, my favorite will always be a cheap fried egg sandwich on cheap white bread that lightly fried in butter, add two broken yolk fried eggs, lots of mayonnaise and mustard and some cheese or ham. (Thanks dad.)
Bologna!!!!
Only 40 people in the survey. That’s too small of a sample.
