Good idea! I have a camp toilet with a seat that I did that with. I guess i should dig it out. It’s about half a mile to walk to the pond pulling a wagon with buckets and I’m trying to avoid that. A few hours without power isn’t a big deal but a few days would be difficult.

We lived with a composting toilet for maybe a year or so. Worked great. How to book called “Humanure”. No smell, easy, use dirt/leaf mold/sawdust/chipper shredder stuff.

I should have said 2 plastic TRASH bags.

I had to replace a sewer line in the fall and used this for several days. Easy to tie up and drop in the trash for pickup. (If you have pickup.)
