Seems so. No one is born a certain way, say nurturers. The next time a gay guy or Admiral (Rachel née Richard) Levine tells you that “he was born that way,” tell him that the enlightened elite have changed the rules. Spread the word to any purple-haired, nose-pierced, tattooed LGBTQIA+ you happen to know.

The push by self-professed incredibly smart, sophisticated, and science-dedicated progressives to sexualize kids -- starting at early ages -- into their bizarre world of woke screams “nurture rules!” Good Catholic Joe Biden must think so, too. Nature’s role -- meaning how we come factory-equipped with traits -- has been scrapped.

Seems that Lockian sensibility has triumphed. You know John Locke? The philosopher who claimed that humans are born tabula rasa? In other words, our minds are blank slates at birth. Experience creates us. Coming out of the womb, we’re moldable plastic -- bend us, twist us, shape us.

Kids’ minds are empty chalkboards, declares the creed, and godless purveyors of dissolute sexuality mean to write their dark formulas on them. Further, their conceit informs them that human beings are gods themselves. Well, not all of us, just them. Their superiority makes them benevolent human shapers. They’re more like Dr. Frankensteins. Kids are to be made into little woke monsters.

What does history teach us -- for those who care about such a trifle? Conceit leads to hubris, hubris being a calamitous, wretched fate that befalls those bound to their vanities. Dr. Frankenstein learned that.

The mandarins of woke have decided that gender is “assigned at birth.” Hence, sexuality isn’t baked in, either. Persons, not women, give birth. Pete Buttigieg can play mommy (if he closes his eyes real tight and pretends). DNA is meaningless. Biology -- that which constitutes male and female -- is a small obstacle to reimagining ourselves. No one is born anything, other than a biped -- and wokesters are probably working on a plan to fix that.

It is important to recognize liberals and the organizations they control ( Disney, Planned Parenthood, the Democrat Party, MSM, Big Tech, Hollywood etc etc) at their core hate children. They promote miseducation, promote homosexuality and its permutations, sexualize pre pubescent children, celebrate and protect child molesters and pornographers and do all they can to impoverish the masses with their green lunacy.

Great article by Mr. Smith to point out the Orwellian doublethink of pushing to educate sexualization of young kids .... after years of telling us kids are born straight or gay or the wrong gender anyway. No need to teach it to them if they're already born that way.

It goes side-by-side with so much other doublethink of the lift. Like believing carbon dioxide is a pollutant ... and we need lots and lots more trees. Believing all men are sexual assaults waiting to happen ... while saying women and girls should be forced to share locker rooms and restrooms with men and boys. Or telling us covid is a contagion that'll kill us all ... while opening our southern border without requiring covid tests or jabs to those crossing the border.

When I was in Kindergarten through 6th grade, I wanted to be an astronaut. My interest in girls, was just a curiosity, they cried a lot, they wanted to play “girly games” and they were largely tolerated.

I didn’t know squat about my teacher’s personal lives, and I wasn’t interested in hearing about their lives. I didn’t know if they were married or single, if they dated or who they dated. It wasn’t important and wasn’t part of the class curriculum, and shouldn’t ever be the student’s business.

In my (boomer) generation, census surveys say that something like 0.3% of people “identify” as LGBTQXYZPDQ (what I jokingly call the entire ridiculous nonsense).

Fast forward to latest gen. Something like 20+% (which I call BS on, but just what they say) “identify” as LGBTQXYZPDQ..

Simple explanation: we didn’t all of a sudden start having 20+% MORE people “born” LGBTQ. Kids nowadays are in all likelihood being INFLUENCED (by teachers, society, “trendy” parents, etc) to BECOME LGBTQXYZPDQ.

I still remember being 7 years old or so, and my Grandma (who I lived with at the time) was really into crochete. Since I loved everything Grandma did (she was AWESOME), I started to like crochete. BIG WOOPS. My Grandpa was LIVID and let everyone know in no uncertain terms that his GrandSON would NOT be doing crochete.

Today’s parents would probably say “oh, look..how cute..little guy is actually a girl. Let’s encourage ‘her’ to explore that...”

And THAT, ladies and gents, is why we now allegedly have 20+% of people “identifying” as LGBTQXYZPDQ. No way on earth 20+% of people are “born that way”. None. Zero. Zip.

The left knows that these are behaviors. Behavior can be learned or unlearned. We might have propensities to one thing or another, but we can learn ways to do things differently. The left doesn’t want us to “unlearn” their twisted ways of thinking.

For example, I am a little messy, and sometimes I struggle with orderliness, but I work on it. I’m not always messy, but there are areas where I am organized. My kitchen is a great example. Almost everything does have a place, but I have to work on the kitchen to maintain its order. It doesn’t stay in order by itself. It requires discipline and work to be maintained in an orderly usable fashion.

These leftists have been doing behavior modification on our kids from the get go. Parents are just now figuring that out. School isn’t for learning how to read, write, and do arithmetic anymore. They decided to add “life skills” to the mix. Now that doesn’t mean how to function in the world once you graduate from HS. Now it means being “yourself”.

This is just straight up evil ... right in front of our faces.
