I’m fixin’ to do a snooze.

I just talked with Connie as she has just now arrived at the hospital. She’s expecting about a 3 hour prep period, start IVs, and whatever, and then a 2 to 3 hour surgery. She hasn’t said this, but I am thinking about 2 hours in recovery before she’s settled in her room.

Y’all, I am, of course, concerned. All surgeries have risks and this is for an aggressive cancer. I really don’t want to wake in the AM and learn that we’ve lost her.
