More than a month has passed since Russias invasion and the Ukrainian Army is now on the offensive in the Kherson region.
An attack on the Russian-held city of Kherson is expected within a week.

Not many farmers here on FR. Real farmers know the world ag markets like city folk know where the best restaurants are.
Fertilizer shortages mean our crop will be less this year. Western drought means the same.
Russian wheat production in 2019 was about 9% of global production.
Ukraine was about 3.7%.

Quite a few of the top producers, like China and India, consume most of the wheat they grow due to their large populations.
The US winter wheat crop for harvest this summer is already in the ground and growing. Unfortunately, the winter wheat region is also very dry this year and it doesn’t look so good.
Wasn’t there a post here recently that said they ‘took’ that region? Just asking.
Now we know what became of Baghdad Bob.
He is now issuing announcements on behalf of the Ukrainians.
“Our fierce and gallant Ukrainian forces will soon repel and destroy the cowardly and weak enemy, Allah willing. They have been surrounded and their future is hopeless.”
This is but one of two selfies I'd love to see Zelensky take. Anyone want to guess who the other person in the casket would be?
I'm probably already on a watch list somewhere so I'll go ahead: pResident Bribehim.
What a glorious day that would be. Don't think I could stop myself from dancing in the middle of the street, throwing candy and ululating like a fat palestinian broad on live tv.
**That’s not small potatoes.**
And you think that those acres are going to be idle now? Is Russia setting fire to wheat fields? Or is wheat production in Ukraine going to see, what, maybe a 25% reduction of grain reaching the market?
The Russians captured a Ukraine command post that was also used as an underground bunker. AT least 60 top Ukraine military officers were taken prisoner.
That is a VERY bad sign for Ukraine and the globalist (i.e. Clinton/Obama/Biden axis of evil) propaganda machine.
This is nonsense. There will probably be some price increases, but only countries having actual shortages will be the poorer ones in Africa, Afghanistan and maybe a few South-East Asian ones.
I read that Brazil is having fertilizer problems which will greatly impact their grain and corn production which in turn will impact my supply of hamburger and steak! More fish, I guess, since they don’t depend on grain and corn.
Sadly you are correct about the libertarians at least the ones around here or at least whatever they are I don’t know but they are disgusting.
It does help a little bit to loudly remind them that Donald Trump supports Ukraine that seems to flush them out as being anti Trump as well.
President Kameltoe would be right there with you!
You ought to factor into your analysis the effect that the markedly increased price and shortage of fertilizer is having on worldwide food production. The lunatic green assault has fossil fuel sources has made natural gas, the core ingredient of fertilizer, scarce and expensive. The green lunatics are responsible for the coming famines, starvations and the coming hunger wars.
Agreed. Along with “2 weeks to flatten the curve”.
Or “We are all in this together”.
All white the elites and the laptop class used the working class as a meat shield.
I will never forget.
I will never forgive.
I was only commenting on the absurdity of the 0.9% figure, because it was categorically untrue.
How the wheat markets will fare as a result of this war (given Russia’s reduced exports and the likely reduction in wheat produced in Ukraine for the upcoming season), I can only speculate, but it’s certainly not rosy.
That make sense. They need to drive toward Crimea to stop resupply via the Kerch Strait Bridge which includes a railway.
Or, alternatively, they’re still pro-Trump but disagree with him on Ukraine.
When you call them out about Trump’s position they say things like his position is totally irrelevant.
How can they support Trump when they claim that anyone who supports Ukraine is a dupe of the globalist Soros Klaus Schwab and every other alphabet soup they can think of?
In fact, when you take the same position as Trump here, they say that you are being paid by Soros.
Current objective for Ukraine in the south is to take back the west bank of the Dnieper from Kherson to Novovorontsovka.
