Ok from that ASN website, they are using county recording or notaries...
My comments:
1)What county records dept or notary is going to risk their job by putting their seal of approval on documents that are essentially expatriating the requester?
2) the website is charging 50 to 75 dollars per package !
From the website:
“
Who Will Be Recording Your Documents? *
State or County Recording Secretary
Public Notary/State of State
Please choose only one
Which Package Would You Like to Purchase? *
E-Document Package $50.00
Basic Hardcopy Package $60.00
The Deluxe Welcome Home Package $75.00

1 - they have to do their job. They may have to be reminded to *do their job*. It is to record. Note, there are humps in the road to reclaiming status under the original Constitution. Both Bobby and David talk about this. THey talk about how to deal with intransigence. These recorders are public servants. They have supervisors, also public servants. They either work for us, *AS CITIZENS*, or they don’t. In their job *AS CITIZENS* to us, as a CITIZEN, to work for us. Bear in mind, this process involves multiple hats we can wear.
2 - the only outlay of funds I’ve made is a seat in an in-person seminar, where some hotel charges for a seminar room for a weekend. I’m aware of sales to putting together documents as a service. I am not, so far, aware that is any pre-requisite. I’m of the mindset this is all possible, with the only outlays being possible recording fees by counties, and perhaps of USPS postage of filings. Some things are done in person at a county level. The problem I see with obtaining a package of documents is that by leapfrogging, you may not get the necessary confidence and underpinning knowledge of what each step means, and what it does.
There are a dozen distinct steps, with an order, a sequence, to obtaining your ASN passport. There is an ordered checklist provided on their website, that I’ve been on, that is accessable as part of having attended a seminar.
David Straight has numerous recordings of his seminar on YT. Looks like a 5-part seminar in Utah is online. This of course is there for the viewing of those interested. Obviously, viewing on YT does not provide access to their website. My guess is the pay-for-a-package might be in line for folks that go the YT route.

I'll note that Bobby, whose seminar I attended, gave up his day job to do lectures and seminars full time.
I posted the link to show the documents required. I wonder if any of those are legitimate forms ? Kinda wacky.
Again, I’m still not sure how Form 56 fits.
IRS From 56 says: Do not use Form 56 if you are notifying the IRS that you are the authorized representative of the taxpayer. Instead, use Form 2848, Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative.
Form 2848 is also used for revocation of power of attorney
Also, the FBI considers “Sovereign Citizen” movements as domestic terrorism.
The “about” is interesting: https://www.mystatusselect.com/about-us/
I’m going to drop out of this discussion, but will follow it.
Thanx
This is an interesting conversation.
There’s a lot of info about the topic, most of it against the movement. Not much info on how successful people have been employing the steps to attain that status.
I still know very little about this movement. I only knew about Irwin Schiff because he was from Las Vegas and that’s where I live.
