Very disappointing. Surprising, too. His recent actions indicated a centrist who seemed quite content to be a thorn in the Leftists’ sides. He was fairly consistent in taking a sensible position, and I was starting to develop respect for the man. Looks like that got shot down today.
It’s possible, I suppose, that he’s sending out disinfo right now, and will have yet another turnaround at the last minute. Nothing we can do but wait and see.
