It all just blew me away.
I have been cognizant of things for a very long time. I was first introduced to the notion, the concept, the study of Eschatology back in 1975. I was still in College that year. I had never in my life been encouraged to read the Bible.
Once I did get the bug, I went after it all. I have long been a voracious Reader, but this stuff, with all of the amazing History of Israel and the Jewish people just took me to new heights. I would estimate that I am far better read than many of my University Professors. I could Ace a Course at will, any Course. I saw that most of these tenured Professors were simply teaching by rote. There was little transference of real information going on there. The cynicism and indifference was absolutely so thick there and then that it was palpable.
Small wonder that I took so many Courses and found little solace in the ‘education’ that I was receiving. I was becoming quite jaded back then.
Those people who were ‘instructors’ in the ‘Divinity Department’ were fully wrapped up in the ‘Higher Criticisms’ of the Bible. As a result, I was compelled to learn all sorts of things which I sensed to be abomination.
Yeah, so we dissected the Book of Daniel, a work so full of lies and deceit. It was written during the times of the Maccabees, when Antoninus Ruler of the Seleucids one of the 4 Kingdoms to emerge from the Empire of Alexander, Son of Phillip the Macedonian, conquerer of the known world.
This meant that a canonized work, of the Bible was essentially fiction and so completely full of lies, that it was presented as a sort of ‘keystone’ and demonstrative that the Bible was all lies. This is what they teach in Universities. This is what the product of Universities teach to our children. You see, I rant. I go on and on. This is my style.
So those ‘Higher Critics’ divided the work, writings of the Pentateuch into the produce of essentially 4 great Writers. Those ‘Writers are and were referred to as “E,’ ‘P,’ ‘J (or Y,) and ‘D.’ That is the Elohist, the Priestly Writer, the Yahwist, and the Deuteronomist. All of the ‘Old Testament’ was written by a collective group who falsified their credentials in order to manufacture a scenario which included the conversion of Oral Traditions into a Written set of Laws. I have to express my value every once in a while in order to reduce those who would enter these threads in order to be coyly disruptive. This is what ‘radix’ means, the ‘primary source.’
I could reduce them. It is not terribly difficult at all. I simply demonstrate to them that when they look at the man in the mirror, they are easily shrunk down. More later, if there is interest.

“little transference of real information——” Yeah I noticed that way back in the day. I took a semester of Old Testament back when. The propensity of the tenured to take what’s there and call it good is spectacular. I like studying pre-history, and along with 6,000 or so other things it has always bugged the bleep out of me that none of the baggy pants crowd can explain how the Hebrews were able to build an ARK with no wood, in the Sinai, few, if any tools, and no metal? Maybe Moses had a coupon and the tablets came in a kit? Good thing my faith doesn’t depend on anything these geniuses blather.
