Russian Forces starting to lose vehicles by the dozen in the Kherson area.

Expect fighting to intensify there over the coming days.

Ukrainan forces are sat around 35 Kilometres from Kherson city centre as of now, most of that distance is open area.

Reports of Ukrainian Air Force Ground Attack aircraft operating in the area earlier today is 100% something to note.

If they can make a push South with integrated Close Air Support from Su-24s/25s, Ukrainian Forces will find themselves in a good position.

Satellite images have also confirmed that Russian helicopters have been redeployed by land from Kherson Airport, but unclear if Russian ground units are still using it as a Forward Operating Base

Interestingly enough it seems to be Ukrainian Marines leading the offensive toward Kherson.

But as I said, 35km of open area isn't ideal at all.

Worth noting that Ukrainian especially Marines and SF have a superior nighttime fighting capability.

“The ONLY reason to give Ukraine money and/or weapons is to support the Deep State Cabal. “

Or to help them win and stop Russia.
And to hopefully guarantee no US military members have to go there .
And just maybe it could prove that we don’t need to spend as much on NATO in the future if it’s proven that Russia can be beaten.

How ‘bout moral support? How ‘bout support against the murder of innocent children and women and the elderly?

I’m with you 100%, but not seeing the same passion from many over our own open border and the thousands of deaths every year it causes.

Wouldn’t you say the first stupid was getting caught on the ground earlier? They’re FLYING machines. But if they had guns maybe the trucker guys found a way to arm up? I could see being a doorgunner on a flat bed?

Murder.

Something Russia and the Ukraine enjoy.

If that is true then you need to open your eyes. Since when is Free Republic a place where people don't support border enforcement? People on this website have worked to elect people who are for a secure border, like that guy you seem to have forgotten about named Donald Trump, and the governor of Texas, and people on this website have donated money to fund a privately built section of wall, and reportedly some have even gone to do patrol work along the border.

Completely different matters, even if the situation on our border is deplorable.

Deaths from the border crossings and from the drugs that enter our country, are the result of an agenda by the democrats, but, it's still not the same as a war with deadly weapons and innocent children and woman and elderly people.

Russian collaborator, Pavel Slobodchikov, was shot killed today in Kherson.

His wife was apparently injured in the ambush as well. Any Russian who thinks it will be easy to occupy Ukraine has not read much about the history of Ukraine.

So far the Ukrainian government has done a pretty good job of reigning in their citizens. That situation may not persist.

Not big production and mostly repair/upgrade.

Interestingly, they build trucks for the US military.

I wonder what the cut is to The Biden Crime Family?

The reason to give them weapons is because when WE convinced them to give up their nukes we promised them we would have their back and protect them. Or don’t you care about that?

If they had kept their nukes they wouldn’t be in this mess.

But, they’re just Ukrainians and we don’t have a dog in that fight. Right???

We do have a dog - grain. Russia and the Ukraine export 24% of the world’s wheat. Without those producers, food prices will shoot up even more. Might point that out to the Putinestas if they use the dog analogy.

I suspect the Russians withdrew units from around Nikolayev and Kherson to support the assault on Mariupol. So the Ukrainians have made gains in both areas.

The Russians seem intent on consolidating their hold on a land bridge from Crimea before any real peace talks start.
