I was happy when she won election last time around. Now, I’d just as soon see a Democrat take that district back. She is everything that is wrong with the Republican party. Get rid of her.

This raging, unhinged woman doesn’t think sending US airmen into Russian airspace to shoot down Russian planes and attack SAM batteries is the same thing as sending in troops.
She’s on the intelligence committee- you just hate seeing these death cult NEOCONS anywhere near foreign policy.

She’s beyond awful. She is painful to watch and listen to. I don’t think Tucker will have her back on his show.

House Republican Representative Maria Salazar is an identity based DeceptiCon politican from the Miami area. As one of the newest House members, Salazar has cut her teeth in professional Republican DC circles with neocon war advocacy, comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty, and she was one of the House members to vote to approve Nancy Pelosi’s J6 committee to target political opposition. Currently, Salazar waves the Ukraine flag while demanding war against Russia.
In short, Representative Salazar is a Bonafide Chamber of Commerce/Wall Street Republican who hides behind the shields of gender and race when challenged on her political advocacy. Salazar won her election because President Trump flipped her Miami district. However, since taking office she has been anti-MAGA in her positions.
Tucker called her out, WATCH:

These are the Nancy Pelosi “Republicans.”

Ok we agree. Of course you can pursue one vital interest while committing fewer or no resources to another. Picking and choosing and setting priorities is part of national security strategy.
And yes, you are right to attack slogans and sloganeering. They are another way of propagandizing instead of thorough analysis of options and issues. And by thorough, I mean thorough hearing and weighing all sides - including necessarily understanding your enemy's goals and motivations, which here and elsewhere among the propagandizing class is called Putin puffery.

I always record Tucker. Had to fast forward to this segment - the talking over each other started hurting my ears!
To: Inspectorette
LOL. I had to mute the TV after about 15-20secs, as the overtalking was hard to take.

Emotions have nothing to do with this...and the emotions are all on the other side, the technique of demonizing Putin constantly by the ‘deep state’ is really no different than demonizing ‘Trump/supporters’.
Millions of illegals coming across out undefended border and wanting it stopped is not an emotional reaction...I find that offensive.
...and let’s be honest, Biden/Graham/Romney and company don’t give a damn about Ukraine, other than cynically using that country to bring down Putin no matter how many Ukrainians get killed, wounded or displaced...they’re just collateral damage to them.

If you don’t provide aid Putin has no incentive for an agreement, because Ukraine will collapse. Providing defense is not blocking a peace agreement.
My problem with Tucker is as follows. His was the only Fox show we watched every night.
I consider him so off base on this, and the presentation so one sided, it makes me cringe.
The other night he had on a guy simply identified as “investment advisor” to say the sanctions are just hurting innocent Russians.
The guests have become laughably sub par.
Just my opinions but Tucker disappointed us so much we had to go back to Hannity.
At least the debate with the congresswoman was a breath of fresh air.

We’ve provided a lot of incentive for Putin to negotiate, his country is facing economic calamity, we’ve sanctioned their central bank, which is unprecedented.
The question is, what vested interest does the USA have in getting in a war with Russia over Ukraine, that’s what Tucker has been asking, something very few on the right or left has asked, getting guests on that offer insights that support his position is only natural.
The main reason his guests appear to be sub par is you disagree with them.
Personally I can’t stand Hannity, he talks over his guest so much he’s practically talking to himself.

The one thing I find interesting is that with all this pushing for a war with Russia yet they want us to take a LEAP OF FAITH about starting a nuclear war.
Now I’m no expert, but my feeling is that a nuclear war would be bad.
So why hasn’t there been discussion about this, which seem important. This interview Tucker asked the person what are the percentages? SHE DID NOT ANSWER, NOBODY DOES.
Just trust us? Yea, no thanks.

"I simply do not see any logic in setting our defense of the southern border as a condition precedent to defending our interests in Ukraine. "It's not a condition precedent, it's not a prerequisite either. The southern border is an easy parallel to draw from when trying to reason out what these foreign "interests" are, and why their border is apparently more important to protect than ours.
Since both borders are now nominal, the question is what is the best course in Ukraine going forward. Putin is going to continue to grind them down. The weapons we are sending will just drag it on and cause more death on both sides. The longer this goes on, the more likely some of those consequences you listed in post #18 become reality.
