I support neither side in this conflict, because I believe both have blood on their hands, just as we do also. I want no more blood on our hands trying to intervene in a conflict that is not within our region. Let the Europeans get involved if they believe it is a real threat to them.

A lab had dangerous pathogens? No s-—. Every major country has labs with dangerous pathogens to perform tests and develop treatments. Both anthrax and plague are endemic to Ukraine and wide parts of Europe and Asia. Duh.

Since the US is worried about these things getting out in the world, wouldn’t it be prudent to have a truce while the parties involved take possession of materials that would cause international catastrophe-level consequences if the were unleasehed (either by accident or intentionally)?
On the plus side - for the Reset State - it would make for a great excuse to declare a permanent international lockdown. So at least some would benefit/.

Ironically enough, you’re the one who is making the argument for letting the Russians secure bio-materials, not Gabbard.
She says call for a truce so as to remove biolab-materials, afterward let the conflict go on (as it has for hundreds of years, some things never change).
You are arguing to let the admittedly - by US State Dept - dangerous bio-materials stay as they are to taken by Russia.
That’s all well and good, but doesn’t have anything do with the question of how to handle the Ukraine biolab material or Romney’s vile attack on a vet.
