Gosh these things move fast.
Just tossing this out here if anyone has advice.
My field requires a Federal Credential as well as a State Credential. I am still good, for 2 1/2 years with the Federal, but the State License must be renewed in 2 1/2 months. That is the case for everyone here. I received my renewal notice in the mail today.
I have been thinking that I should just let it go, but this is not such an easy choice. I pretty much cannot work without the vaccine. I could relocate to Florida (possibly elsewhere) and that issue goes away.
I really do not want to surrender my license with a simple fade away. It is important to me to maintain it, but I am not working, so what is after all the point? Is it just vanity?
I will struggle with this for a couple of weeks or more.
Is this common in other states? Other professions? Is accepting this retirement stuff a common challenge for people? I certainly am not liking my predicament. I have so many options with my license preserved, as there are many different categories of work, all of which I am qualified for, as long as I can avoid the Vaccine mandate BS.
