It is amazing, tho, how many viruses/diseases are NOT passed by mosquitoes to humans...
...without human interference, at least.
Like mosquitoes transmitting Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) to horses. We had to have our horses tested for EIA annually. I asked the Vet what it is and he said "horse AIDS" transmitted by mosquitoes, horse flies, etc. So I asked why human AIDS couldn't be transmitted by mosquitoes. He didn't answer me. My smart mouth almost said "because the government said it can't, that's why", but I kept it shut for a change.
