One needs to understand one’s enemy whether one agrees with them or not.

The reports have been that Russia invaded Ukraine because it did not want it to become part of NATO. In 2014, it did not want Ukraine to become part of the EU. Of course Russia was meddling in Ukraine in 2014, as were the US and EU. Even Joe Xiden was directly involved assigned by the POTUS, traveled there ... 2nd highest person in all the US. This article takes it further back to “non-binding verbal agreements” between countries, the expansion of NATO into other formerly Soviet countries, and implies NATO continued on with the cold war and not adjusting to a post-cold war world.

Is that a “legitimate” gripe that Russia government might have or just a gripe about the Ukraine? The question does not support Putin’s decision on how to deal with its gripe, but I am not surprised after Xiden’s monumental failure in ealing with the fall of Afghanistan and his public appearances where he makes remarks that he is doing what he is being told to do, etc.

When an opinion piece opens up with, “Here’s the truth on...”, you know it is complete Bullslit.

“We promised Russia we would not expand NATO when the Soviet Union fell. “

This is a lie that Russia and the Russian troll and weak vacillating Liberaltarians spew daily.

There is and was no agreement or treaty or proclamation promising any such ridiculous claim. It’s propaganda and a lie to protect the War Criminal Putin.
