When we lived in Pt. Loma, at the end of this peninsula in San Diego, there was a house for sale we looked at that was on a steep hill,garage under the house...and literally a pully and basket for groceries, etc. Nope nope nope lol.

Lol! Just getting through each day would be a workout. On the “up” side, I’d never have to get on an elliptical or treadmill again.

I think sarin gas may be a chemical weapon.

clif’s Newsletter (3/11 like I’ve been saying) Zero Day?
I just did a search of "Putin Russia internet" and read much Leftist hand-wringing over Putin's promise to partition Russia's internet from foreign service providers even as those same foreign service providers pull the plug on Russia.
How to describe a Leftist? To paraphrase Jack Nicholson from "As Good As It Gets"
"First I think of a man, then, I take away reason and accountability."

What financial steps by individual freQers need to be taken (if any)?
~~~~~~~~~
I don’t know, I missed the boat and watched my assets go down down down. Other Qreepers have been buying gold and metals..
I think we might do well to get some cash outta the bank though; who knows what’s happening next!
+++++++++++++++++
Would investing in precious metals ETFs (those backed by physical holdings as opposed to mining/services) be as good as owning the physical metals themselves?
Is this a good hedge against inflation?
Still sliding’ on the snowblower
I’m in Peoria and we don’t get that much either, however this last Feb monthly total was near record. We had 14” about 3 weeks ago. Forget it - the Greenworks was nearly useless that day.
To: Oratam
Stocks will go with the market more so then the metal its self. There is no assured way to hedge against bad times. It’s retaliative to what others do even the metal itself. Though traditionally metal itself been a safer bet.
bitt this was great, thanks for posting. It fits in also with Gates buying up all that farmland and the big corporate farms as well.
I have to share something with y’all… the other night in my yoga class (full of Karens) I overheard this during a heated discussion of Ukraine/Russia and COVID: I’m not dismissing conspiracy theories anymore because they’re starting to be more reliable than the news.” I almost fell over.
