The Biden Administration has sent a team of negotiators to Caracas in an attempt to restart imports of Venezuelan oil to the US. The penchant Biden has for getting crucial oil from our enemies is staggeringly ignorant. We were energy independent for 4 years. Now we are dependent on dictators for the oil to run our society. He’s obviously afraid of the leftists aka “greenies” in his administration.
Venezuela is an ally, or “strategic partner” of Russia. The US believes it has begun to distance itself from Putin as the Russian economy begins to show serious repercussions from the sanctions. Last week, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua all abstained from voting to condemn Russia for invading Ukraine at the UN. The Biden administration believes it’s a signal that the three dictatorships are moving away from Putin. Are they?
For the last several days and weeks, even before the invasion of Ukraine, Putin spent days on the phones with Venezuela dictator Nicolas Maduro and other autocratic leaders around the world. What he told them is unknown, because the link to their conversations has been blocked by internet companies.
Importing Venezuelan oil is not a smart move. Neither is importing Iranian oil. The smart move is to stop them all and re-up our own production. But the Biden administration is not smart.

because US oil is dirty.
and...
ya their oil is dirty to but it’s dirty somewhere else..
oh and Biden wants to buy oil from his friends so he can get 10%
to bail them out of course...
Because oil workers contribute to Republicans.
Biden is throwing a lifeline to a fellow communist state.
Because they don’t want to give up the greens scam, that’s there long term strategy for world domination. Also, you can pay more, you need to get used to living with less anyway.
They want us out of the vehicles, just not as fast as what could possibly soon happen. That’s the problem with trying to manage the decline of people’s standard of living, it can easily get out of control.
Destroying good middle class jobs is the goal!
Because environmentalists want to shut down US oil completely. And because Democrats hate the United States of America.
Yay. Yet another dictatorship for the U.S to embrace.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth...
Venezuelan oil is so think and dirty, they have to mix it with Texas crude to even refine it. Stuff is worthless without light sweet crude.
I have to wonder, seeing as we have confiscated crude inbound and outbound with sanctions in the past, we seem to be negotiating with a caged animal .... seems dangerous to me ...but this administration will get taken advantage of.
To stick it in America’s eye. To sow confusion, division and discord. To provoke, disrupt, abuse and destroy productive patriots.
Venezuela (if its interested at all) will have an enormous negotiating advantage to exploit.
Nothing better than negotiating with a desperate party.
yup
3.99 a gal..in Florida......Florida’s highest recorded average price was $4.079 in July 2008, according to AAA.
The Brandon administration is an epic size charlie foxtrot.

This statement makes no sense. Phone calls are secure communications. The internet companies merely distribute communications they cannot read.
Secondly, why is there a need for Putin to have a lengthy conversation with Venezuela? He's recently had his hands full planning and fighting a war.
These two question marks make me seriously doubt the veracity of this posted story.
an uneducated one who doesn’t know anything about oil
So... we assume Democrat donors will get a big cut from Venzuelan oil.
Unlike Candian (Keystone) oil, (do R donors even get a cut from that?)- or is it all about a certain Dem donor who carries oil on his train?.
So... the media says “Hurray!”
Good question.
