WASHINGTON — Former Vice President Mike Pence urged Republicans to move on from the 2020 election and declared that "there is no room in this party for apologists for Putin" as he further cemented his break from former President Donald Trump.

Trump was NOT an apologist for Putin. Acknowledging the genius of an enemy is wise, that is what REAL LEADERS do. Not admitting the genius and savvy of the opponent is foolish.

This is just a preview of 2024. I expect everybody is running again and they will all tag team Trump on this. Unfortunately, President Trump has made unforced errors here and it will cost him some votes.

Trump is not a Putin apologist, and I doubt these Pence remarks were aimed at Trump. This is the AP spin on it, not mine. Little as I think of Pence, I do not believe his intent was to insult Trump. The AP on the other hand has an agenda, and that agenda is not my agenda.

The constant association of Trump with Putin, it might be too much for Trump to overcome now. The Left knew what they were doing, now the constant Propaganda has put it into too many brains that Trump and Putin are “best buds”.

The only unforced error here is yours. You let the msm do your interpretation of events for you. Listen to what Trump said, then think for yourself. You'll see there was absolute truth in what Trump said, and I fully agree with him.
