This was three years ago. Has anyone of any standing tried to answer the question? They say they want the prestige of being associated with a former VP. I kind of get that, but I don’t buy it. I might buy it if the former VP in question wasn’t a serial plagiarist both in his academic and professional life, and a general BS artist otherwise.
