Katie Meyer, the goaltender for Stanford’s women’s soccer team, passed away in a campus residence, the school announced on Wednesday.
“Katie was extraordinarily committed to everything and everyone in her world,” Stanford vice provost for student affairs Susie Brubaker-Cole and athletic director Bernard Muir said in a message to the campus community on the university’s communications site. “Her friends describe her as a larger-than-life team player in all her pursuits, from choosing an academic discipline she said ‘changed my perspective on the world and the very important challenges that we need to work together to overcome’ to the passion she brought to the Cardinal women’s soccer program and to women’s sports in general. Fiercely competitive, Katie made two critical saves in a penalty shootout against North Carolina to help Stanford win its third NCAA women’s soccer championship in 2019. Katie was a bright shining line for so many on the field and in our community.

Meyer, a senior, majored in international relations and minored in history. She was a team captain for Stanford. A Burbank, Calif., native, Meyer has two sisters, Samantha and Siena.

It seems to me that a reporter should dig deeper before releasing a story like this one. Was the poor lady murdered? Or was there some kind of accident on campus? Should other students be on guard?
I dunno. Maybe I expect too much from journalism these days.

This is one of the things i'm afraid of. I hate telling private information about myself, but I will in this instance.
I have several children. Their employers told them to get the vaccine or be fired. I told them to absolutely refuse the vaccine, and if they got fired, I would carry them until this madness was over.
With this, I have successfully prevented most of my children from getting the vaccine. One was newly hired by an employer that absolutely required the "vaccine" with no exceptions, and she has since had a miscarriage.
I've read some articles that indicate that the vaccine may cause permanent miscarriages, and I find this very worrying.

By my count: 350 unusual health events among athletes total (so far, at least the ones who made the news) for 2021 (from age 16-53). 235 of these events occurred in athletes 35 and younger. 146 aged 25 and under, and 93 were aged 20 and under.
175 collapses during practice, training, game, or immediately after
165 heart related events (106 heart attacks, 11 myocarditis, 7 pericarditis, 5 arrhythmia)
Other events: 13 clots, 9 strokes, 4 seizures

No doubt, the guv and college and employer-mandated stabs are mowing down young and old. But the college-age population is struggling more broadly, with suicide, drugs, depression, etc.
It almost sounds as if this might be suicide, given the wording of the announcement.

FWIW our local hospital reports daily the number of ceebug related patients they have. They break them down by vaxed or unvaxxed. They are up to 50% of the covid patients now are Vaxxed. Total patients have been dropping but Vaxed is clearly rising. The thing they don’t want to disclose is just what the bleep they’re treating the vaxxers for?
Could you say whether your vaxxed Daughter is still working at the same job? Did she notify her employer that she had the miscarriage? Sounds like time to make contact with a lawyer. Were you aware there is a federal fund that compensates for injuries due to vaxes. That might help her a bit. It’s tough but your daughter certainly needs to be keeping notes on her own health conditions and asking her doctor hard questions. And don’t get any more boosters, etc.
