For an 'empowered, super-successful woman' (her words), 2020 Ms Great Britain April Banbury can be rather daft when it comes to men.
She's met goodness knows how many online in the past few years, dated 'more than 100' of them and slept with 'the ones I felt I might have a connection with potentially'. Then . . .
'They just ghost me,' she says with a look that's part fury, part hurt on her very pretty face.

It’s been my experience that when a woman says her past is ‘’complicated’’ it means she’s a slut.
At least this is what other women have told me.
She is probably too high of maintenance. I can see where men would run from her.

And it is often said that this is because men like that "hate" or "fear" women who are "successful".
Nothing could be further from the truth.
And what is the truth is much, much more painful to "successful" women.
What your 30 year old 5%er man is to "success' in a woman is INDIFFERENT. To use a psychology term, career or worldly success in a woman is not SALIENT to a man.
He doesn't hate it, he doesn't fear it - he just doesn't care about it.

People who work in cubicles near yours or who compete with you for a promotion or other opportunity are PART of the "heartless world".
If you want a family, as most men do, heartlessness is not an attractive feature.

I met my wife at work. I was an executive. She was an "administrative assistant". But she was good to be with.
When she moved in with me she became a housewife, so whatever career she previously had became irrelevant.
Easy there… I made a simple observation, that had zero judgement or criticism. Lots of times, things hit close to home because of our life experiences.
I am sorry about your husband. I hope he kicks it and you have many more years together.
You do whatever you like, label me as you please. You are of no consequence. You are probably a pretty women reacting as usual. My observations were not of the few, since 100% of the very pretty women I have observed were relatively soulless.
