Pompeo had some very serious surgery on an Achilles tendon a few weeks ago. He says he is using the knee coaster to keep the weight completely off the foot. He also claimed recently he’d lost 80 pounds earlier. Makes you wonder if he created a deficiency of some sort with such a dramatic weight loss? He’s a full grown guy but 80 pounds is a lot.

Chances are he had to lose weight before the surgery so as to put less pressure on his leg.
A friend of mine had to lose a lot of weight before he could have ankle fusion surgery. Doc wouldn't perform it till he reaches a certain weight. Helps with the recovery.
