"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

That’s been one of my pet peeves since, oh, say 1963. That’s my only real disagreement with Barry Goldwater. In his book “Conscience of a Conservative” he claimed the political right for conservatism. I’ve always thot he should have claimed the DEAD CENTER since doing the right thing is pretty centrist. But He done it and we’re stuck with it.

The guy who wrote that 430 number needs to buy a couple of zeros. That’s just the easy stuff. Another 1,000 feet down and it will take 5000 years to use that part up. The ancient Rockies layed down mulch 60 million years or so ago and we can go down 13,000 feet to get most of that. The entire Mississippi basin is a giant gas tank. But the process never stops. Every 100 feet or so of silt makes a new deposit. The California highway guys demonstrated that a few years ago when they tried to use ground up tires in their highway landfills. After about 50 feet deep the road started bleeding tar. Yeah, that worked!
Two or three generations ago, people were considered capable of adult responsibility much young. Late teens. Now ... infancy until 30s. Gimme gimme, whine whine, meee meee, etc.
Both men and women 15- 16 years old, throughout history, have been capable adults in many ways. The prolonging of adolescence has destroyed countless lives.
Life’s all about fun fun fun, let’s be mindless and irresponsible hedonists, break every known rule of decency and morality; because it’s time to partay. Gratify every whim, desire and lust to the maximum no matter what the cost.
Thankfully, not every young person is drawn into this illusion, but a great many.
