Good morning to you too, neighbor!
Lots to tell...
I recently traveled back from CA to AZ, in order to go on an OHV ride with my brother and friend. The 26-mile route goes from Lake Pleasant, north of Phoenix, up into the Bradshaw Mountains (closest pines to PHX) and ends at Crown King, AZ; a very small former mining town of less than 100 residents.
With that being said, my ride was cut short by a crash that resulted in several serious injuries to my body. I wound up being medevac’d off a mountain by the AZ Hwy Patrol’s SAR team using one of their helicopters, flying me to the closest hospital.
I ended up with 17 cracked ribs, a cracked sternum, 4 cracked lumbar vertebrae, a sprained spine, a lacerated liver and pancreas, a damaged large colon and supporting blood vessels... resulting in internal bleeding requiring emergency surgery leaving about a 12” vertical incision (# 27 staples) in my abdomen to remind me for the rest of my life, what I managed to do to my body in the blink of an eye.
I am 3 weeks post-crash and doing a lot better than I was just 1 or 2 weeks ago.
Woot! Woot! What doesn’t kill me, ALMOST kills me!
ALL ABOARD!
freepersup, thank God you survived.
I can’t imagine going through all that.
My gosh….that…is an incredible story, FRiend.
SO THANKFUL you survived, and, are on the mend. As bad as it sounds, I’m glad it wasn’t worse. You are still here!! The good Lord has continued plans, for you still, here on this Earth.
Thank you for checking in. Prayers up for your continued healing and mending. 💞💞
Oh my freepersup, when you do something you go all the way! Only 3 weeks ago, so how are you doing now? Praying for your speedy and full recovery.
Praying for your complete recovery.
Thanking the LORD, you are still with us, freepersup and praying you will soon recover.
OMGosh, you need to be kinder to yourself.
So glad you are a fighter and a survivor.
And you are on the mend after trying to do yourself in.

Wow. Angel must be with you. Wish you a speedy recovery.
OH wow,
Sorry to hear your news.
So glad you are on the road to recovery.
We had a bad accident 2 years ago before Covid and it just takes time, totaled our car, truck pulled right out in front of us.
Hope you heal fast and go get your recovery programs, will keep you in my prayers.
Oh freepersup! How awful! I’m glad you’re on the mend. Thank you for the wonderful dining cars for our rally tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Take care of yourself!

Yikes, that sounds scary!
Do you have a place to lay low and heal for a while?
WOW... that was a bad one. So glad you are healing. God bless.
Good Lord!
You are one tough cookie!
It hurt just to READ that, never mind
having to go through it!
Glad you’re on the mend!
The TFT wouldn’t be the same without you!
Prayers for healing to you!
Holy Smokes! You must have one fantastic story in that accident. Wow! What did you do? How fast were you going? Was she worth it?
I’m glad you lived to tell the tale.
Now, tell the whole tale!
