Several basslines that made the list were heavily influenced by other basslines on the list:

Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick --> Come On, Come Over.
I know with lists like this some worthy entries inevitably get left off, but it would've been nice if it included Pump It Up by Elvis Costello, with Bruce Thomas on bass.
