One of my kids sent me this video. It purports that there are many (dozens? hundreds?) of historical accounts/reports of giants, tribes or giants, encounters with giants, etc.
The video seems to be well made and plausible. However, I remain skeptical. Supposedly many of the giant skeletal remains made their way to the Smithsonian. There are plenty of snopes articles debunking stories of this sort, but who knows what to believe from snopes?
Like any other topic of this sort their are supporters & detractors. The trick of course is sorting through the BS.
Before I dig further into this, I'm curious if any skeptical Freepers have gone down this particular rabbit hole...

That seems to be the case about everything the Smithsonian gets its hands on. Got to keep a lid on things and maintain the “correct” historical and scientific narrative they have been pushing since Darwin created the theory of evolution.
His name is Michael Heiser. He provides a Biblical perspective of ancient religions where the reality of nephilim is one of the subjects. His book providing an alternative, but Biblical, viewpoint is “Unseen Realm”.
It would not surprise me in the least that the government would hide evidence of something that supports the Biblical narrative.
Otherwise, in answer to your question, no.

Some of us have been posting & writing on it for years here on FR. Every thread we get castigated on it by the typical lazy folks who refuse to see outside of their comfortable 21st century American box.

The Native Indians advised that they raised their hand as a “peace gesture” towards strangers because they wanted to see the number of fingers those strangers had. 6 fingers are a very evil sign. North and South America were hotbeds for Nephilim, Shapeshifters, and Giants. Ask any native.
Most natives will also tell you that their ancestors did not build the superstructures attributed to them (Machu Pichu, Serpent Mounds in Ohio, Mesa Verde).
Red hair is also a common trait of Nephilim.

A recent skeleton got uncovered in Italy got covered up real quick and then the usual suspects claimed it was a “hoax”.
One Biblical Creationist Scientist said the carnivorous dinosaurs are the products of Genesis 6 Nephilim experiments. I forgot the guys name. He made a very compelling case.
