I was in college when Tiananman happened and I just remember how protests were happening all across Europe that year…waves of freedom breaking out all over…people were winning against communism…and then that happened. Very sad.
Berlin Wall came down that year I think after the Czechs and Austria unlocked their borders and allowed people to simply walk to West Germany.
