Canada’s political system is baffling; seems similar to the UK and Israel. Who/what is the Governor-General? Canada apparently has two houses of legislature/Parliament, I really know very little about this. Commons is the lower hours, what is the upper house?

we don't have alot of cash and almost all of our money over the yrs has gone to our home, shop, and retirement accts...
