Lots of little O’Rourke quotes attributed or otherwise, have permeated the comments section of this forum for years to the informed reader.

And don’t worry about the heroin making you vomit. It’s a rental.

“I was on the train on my way downtown to my office I was reading one of his books, and I just burst out laughing, loudly and uncontrollably, with tears running down my cheeks. People on the train looked at me like I was nuts. And I didn’t care.”
I love this. It’s actually making me kind of teary-eyed, sort of like what PJ sometimes did with his pen; on occasion he would make you laugh and cry at the same time, although this time it’s just knowing he’s gone that brings on the sad.

I still have copies of those, and many issues of the monthly magazine, put away in a box somewhere.

He pretty much doubled-down on that. Yes, he did. He should have learned from Trump's brilliant first term that he could be trusted. That did not happen, and I don't understand why.

RIP PJ. I enjoyed your writings tremendously. We have lost a voice for sanity in our dark days.
